Fallen Earth : GamersFirst Taking Game F2P

Massively has revealed that Fallen Earth will be going 'freemium' with the tenure of GamersFirst. This comes with little surprise as it was announced last month that GamersFirst was taking over the hardware side for Fallen Earth. According to the announcement, the core development team at Icarus will remain intact and development of the game should continue seamlessly.

The important thing to note here is that the core Fallen Earth design team will remain intact, as GamersFirst isn't looking to change the game itself. Marie Croall's crew will be considered an extension of Reloaded Productions, remaining in North Carolina. The company promises more resources for the design team, hopefully allowing the game's already impressive development cycle to grow even further.
