Aion : Ascension 'Truly Free' Announced

NCSoft has officially announced that Aion will go "truly free" with the Aion: Ascension. The new version of the game will launch later this spring and will include the much-awaited 3.0 content which brings housing, mounts, an increased level cap to 60, new zones and instances into the game.

The team will be running an event called "Rallying the Troops" which will give players an unlimited trial which is capped at level 40 and returning players will have their accounts reactivated for 14 days. In addition, players can take advantage of permanent increased XP as well as other boosts to help level and gear up to experience the new content faster.
